District Railway garden competition 1929. Male and female judges on the platform at Boston Manor Underground station; the garden on the left, created by Lamp Attendant Bennett, was awarded a third prize. Note the shadow in foreground cast by one of the station lampposts, the solid disc station name roundel behind the judges, and the deep platform canopy. One of a series U5744 - U5761.
