Kings Cross(St Pancras) Underground station new works specifically in connection with the installation of escalators and ticket hall. View shows Euston Road looking south east with St Pancras station behind viewer. Opposite is the Northumberland Hotel on the corner with Crestfield Street. The lamp post in the middle of the road bears box type advert for local garage. Conduit tram lines are on either side of a tunnel ventilation grille. Traditional telephone boxes and police call box are in view. Beside the shaft on the site is a crane on rails.
