Stairwell entrance to Gants Hill station, with metal railings. A silhouette-type roundel, with information bars beneath, all mounted on a concrete pole, stands beside the entrance. The low brick building on the opposite side of the road is the top of the station booking hall; it is flanked by ventilation towers, although that on the right is partly out of shot. A pillar-box can be seen to the left of the stairwell.
