View of the interior of a Metropolitan-built 1926-standard tube stock trailer car, operating on the Hampstead and City line (now the Northern line). In view is the mostly longitudinal seating with arm rests; transverse seating is only in the middle section of the car. Two lines of 1926-style hand grips hang above the central aisle. Advertising posters and route maps are located above the windows.
