Stairwell entrance to King's Cross St Pancras Underground station, Piccadilly and Northern lines, located on the north side of Euston Road. The stairwell is enclosed by metal railings on a plinth; a pole-mounted silhouette roundel, with information bars beneath, stands at the top of the stairs. The road is busy with traffic, including a trolleybus operating on route 613. Trolleybus wires can be seen overhead. Work is underway to the pavement to the right of the stairwell, involving the use of a small crane.
