Exterior of Stepney Green LMS (Tilbury & Southend) & Underground Railways station. Brick building with a slate roof. There are two round-arched doorways with terracotta dressings and decorative fanlights, windows are also set into arches. There is a Johnston type combined LMS and Underground Railways sign on the roof of the station. LMS and Underground posters are on display on the exterior of the station. A performance of Ben-Hur is being advertised on a poster to the far left, and there is a man selling newspapers to a passing woman further along. A group of people have gathered around the bus/tram stop outside of the station, there are tram lines in the foreground of the shot.
