Golders Green in 1906, looking north along Finchley Road in the direction of Finchley; the area is very flat, with little in the way of buildings apart from a large house on the left at the Golders Green Road intersection, apparently the temporary home of Ernest Owers, a local estate agent, announced by two large roadside signs. The foreground is wide and clear, with open fields beyond the road; cars of a train on the not-yet-opened Charing Cross, Euston & Hampstead Railway (CCE&HR) are just visible in the background on the right.
