Three-quarter view of Brush-built South Metropolitan Electric Tramways (SMET) L-type double deck, open top, bogie tram no. 29, with six windows in body; ex-Croydon tramways (BET British Electric Traction Co Ltd) built in 1902, transferred to SMET in 1906. Fitted with Brush-type BB reversed maximum traction trucks and BTH electrical equipment. This tram was one of a series of five cars that were numbered 56-60 when serving in the Croydon fleet, and were broken up in 1934.
