The Victoria Embankment, from Westminster Bridge, 1923; a wide shot overlooking the river showing a section of Westminster Pier and boats. White makes reference to the Hotel Cecil and the Bush Building in the distance of the photograph, and in the left-hand corner, the original block of New Scotland Yard by Norman Shaw. He also comments on his preference for the replacement of the old roof of Charing Cross Railway station by the "inconspicuous" new one.
