Parsons Green Underground station exterior, District line. The station was built in 1879 and opened on 1 March 1880. The booking hall entrance stands adjacent to the railway viaduct crossing above Parsons Green Lane. A large enamel sign 'District Railway City and West End' is displayed at roof level. Billboards and poster frames cover the walls around the booking hall entrance.
