Three-quarter view of a North Metroplitan Tram Company horse drawn tram in circa 1902. The vehicle is seen outside a shop. A man wearing a bowler hat holds the horses and looks into the camera, as do the tram's conductor and driver. The tram is in service on the route between Aldersgate and Hackney via Graham Road, Essex Road and Goswell Road, a route which was eventually taken over by trolleybus route 667, which became part of bus route 277.

Unknown photographer, circa 1902
