District Railway station gardens competition 1927. The judges inspecting the platform garden at Ealing Broadway Underground station, which was awarded a first prize; the garden's creator, Collector Bishop, stands to one side, midground centre. A very faded solid disc station name roundel, with UndergrounD timetables below, can be seen, extreme foreground left; another roundel, with overhead light, is visible further along the platform. A set of semaphore signals can be seen in the background. Last of a series U4528 - U4539.
