Three-quarter view of two District Railway electric locomotives leaving Ealing Broadway station on a Southend service formed by London Tilbury & Southend Railway (LT&SR) stock; note the fluted roofs of the locomotives, which normally worked in tandem on these services. One or two of the passengers in the first car are leaning out of the windows to look at the photographer. Three other trains can be seen in the background.
