Lengthening of the down platform at the country end of Chorleywood Underground station, Metropolitan line. A new concrete section has been built, but has not yet been joined to the existing platform. The base for the new position of starter signal US18, which at present stands foreground left, can be seen beyond the bottom of the ramp. A steam-hauled engineer's train is visible, background right.
