View of the platform extensions at the north end of Chorleywood Underground station, Metropolitan line. New brick buildings and subway walls are under construction. The barrow crossing at the end of the original platforms is still in use, but a replacement is under construction at the far end of the platform extensions; two parcel barrows can be seen on the London-bound platform on the right. This shot also gives a very good view of the original Metropolitan Railway canopies, particularly the metal supporting columns and brackets.
