Platform view, Morden station. The photographer is standing on platform no 1, and is looking across island platform nos 2/3; a train of 1938-tube stock, with doors open, is standing at platform 3. A modern roundel, flanked by poster panels, is prominent, midground left; further along the platform, a clock, back-to-back benches, and a tombstone-style roundel can all be seen. The underside of the roof and the glazed end-screen are clearly visible; lights with hexagonal shades are suspended from the roof. In the distance, another 1938-tube stock train is approaching the station.
