View along residential street in Southgate with new trees recently planted at intervals in the pavement. On opposite side of road, a vacant area of land is home to a sign (a better view of which can be seen in U6810), announcing the imminent construction of Southgate Underground station (on the Piccadilly line extension, funded by the Development Act of 1929 -"for the relief of Unemployment").
