Electric locomotive No 8 (City & South London stock) built by Crompton and equipped by Mather & Platt. Re-equipped with GE74 Motor in 1907 according to Album print. Motor (shown) taken out for overhaul before dismantling. Fitted with axle hung traction motor & gear drive.
