Construction of the Cromwell (on right) and Earl's Court (on left) curves, District Railway, from the Gloucester Road direction. A single line of track has been laid in each cutting; the centre track is probably a contractor's line for delivery of materials to the site. In the distance, a concrete arch crosses Earl's Court curve.
