1:16 scale model of the single deck horse tram used on G F Train's Victoria street line, c1861

The People, 1861 : The People was a single-deck horse tram used on Train’s second London line, the Westminster Street Railway. From Victoria station 48 passengers could travel 800m (half a mile) down to Westminster for two pence. Despite this high fare, the line was well used.
